Eastern Grey Kangaroo | Organic Staple T-shirt
The Eastern Grey Kangaroo is Australia’s iconic ‘chill-out king’—a true master of the laid-back lifestyle. With its long, powerful tail and muscular legs, this kangaroo is built for both lounging and leaping, often seen casually hopping around the Australian outback or grazing in the early morning sun like it’s on a never-ending vacation. The Eastern Grey’s superpower? It can jump up to 3 meters in a single bound—basically, it’s the ultimate long jumper, but it only uses this talent when it’s not busy nibbling on grass or giving you the "What’s up?" stare. It’s known for its calm demeanor and social nature, often seen hanging out in groups called "mobs" (because, of course, even kangaroos need a crew). But don't be fooled by the relaxed vibes; when they need to, Eastern Greys can bounce away at high speeds in a heartbeat, making them the Forrest Gumps of the Australian bush. So, whether it’s hopping around or taking a midday nap, the Eastern Grey is living its best life, one peaceful hop at a time.
- Fabric: Mid weight, 100% combed organic cotton (15% viscose in marle colourways) sustainably grown without herbicides or pesticides.
- Fit: Regular fit with a crew neck.
- Construction: Side-seamed, GOTS-certified, with neck ribbing, shoulder-to-shoulder tape, and double needle hems. It is also pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage.
Care- for maximum print life:
- Turn inside out: Always invert your shirt before putting it in the wash to reduce friction against the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) ink.
- Cold & gentle: Wash the garment on a cold cycle (under 30°C) on your machine's gentlest setting.
- Mild detergent only: Use standard, mild washing powder. Avoid heavy-duty detergents, enzymes, and bleaching agents (even non-chlorine ones, if possible).
- No softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as these can strip or degrade the coloured inks.
