The little penguin is the world’s smallest penguin, standing only about 30 cm tall and dressed in neat blue-grey feathers that give it the nickname “fairy penguin.” Found along the southern coasts of Australia and New Zealand, these tiny seabirds spend their days hunting fish, squid and krill at sea before waddling ashore at dusk to return to burrows on land. Protecting safe nesting areas is vital, and conservation groups like Phillip Island Nature Parks work to safeguard important colonies and manage threats such as habitat disturbance and introduced predators. Their nightly return from the ocean is known as the “penguin parade” — which basically looks like a group of very determined, slightly overdressed beachgoers waddling home after a long day at sea.

Care- for maximum print life:
- Turn inside out: Always invert your shirt before putting it in the wash to reduce friction against the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) ink.
- Cold & gentle: Wash the garment on a cold cycle (under 30°C) on your machine's gentlest setting.
- Mild detergent only: Use standard, mild washing powder. Avoid heavy-duty detergents, enzymes, and bleaching agents (even non-chlorine ones, if possible).
- No softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as these can strip or degrade the coloured inks.
