The northern leaf-tailed gecko is one of Australia’s ultimate masters of disguise, with a bizarre leafy tail, knobbly skin and mottled colours that make it almost impossible to spot against tree trunks. Found in the rainforests of northern Queensland, it spends the day clinging motionless to trees before emerging at night to hunt insects and other small prey. Its camouflage is so effective that it can disappear in plain sight, relying on its body shape and colouring to fool predators. Protecting rainforest habitat is crucial for this specialised species, and conservation organisations like Rainforest Rescue work to protect and restore the tropical forests it calls home. With those huge eyes and permanently unimpressed expression, it looks less like a gecko and more like a tiny rainforest goblin.

Care- for maximum print life:
- Turn inside out: Always invert your shirt before putting it in the wash to reduce friction against the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) ink.
- Cold & gentle: Wash the garment on a cold cycle (under 30°C) on your machine's gentlest setting.
- Mild detergent only: Use standard, mild washing powder. Avoid heavy-duty detergents, enzymes, and bleaching agents (even non-chlorine ones, if possible).
- No softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as these can strip or degrade the coloured inks.
