Bush Stone-curlew | Organic Staple T-shirt
The Bush-stone Curlew is like the bird version of that one friend who always looks like they’re up to something mysterious. With its big, wide eyes and lanky legs, it has a slightly confused, yet endearing, expression—kind of like it just woke up from a nap and still hasn’t figured out where it is. Native to Australia, these birds are the masters of stealth during the day, blending perfectly into their surroundings with their camouflage plumage. You might think you’re seeing things when you spot one standing completely still, looking like a twig with eyes. But don’t be fooled! Come nightfall, the Bush-stone Curlew comes alive, calling out in eerie, haunting tones that sound like the bird version of a ghost story. They might look a little clumsy with their long legs, but they’re actually skilled hunters, catching insects and small critters with ninja-like precision. So, if you ever see one just standing there, staring at you, don’t worry—it’s not judging you, it’s just pondering life (or maybe wondering what’s for dinner).
- Fabric: Mid weight, 100% combed organic cotton (15% viscose in marle colourways) sustainably grown without herbicides or pesticides.

Care- for maximum print life:
- Turn inside out: Always invert your shirt before putting it in the wash to reduce friction against the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) ink.
- Cold & gentle: Wash the garment on a cold cycle (under 30°C) on your machine's gentlest setting.
- Mild detergent only: Use standard, mild washing powder. Avoid heavy-duty detergents, enzymes, and bleaching agents (even non-chlorine ones, if possible).
- No softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as these can strip or degrade the coloured inks.
