Masked Lapwing | Organic Staple T-shirt
The Masked Lapwing is one of Australia’s most distinctive—and sometimes feisty—birds, with its bold black "mask" around its eyes and bright yellow wattles on either side of its head. Often spotted in open grasslands, parks, and even urban areas, this ground-dwelling bird is known for its loud, raucous calls and its fearless nature when protecting its territory or young. Don't be fooled by its somewhat comical appearance—this bird isn’t afraid to take on anything it perceives as a threat, including humans, with a dive-bombing attack that would make any predator think twice. Despite its spunky attitude, the Masked Lapwing is also a skilled parent, often seen guiding its chicks around with great care. Imagine sporting a Masked Lapwing on a tee-shirt—its bold yellow wattles and striking black-and-white markings would make for a fun, attention-grabbing design. A Masked Lapwing tee would be the perfect choice for anyone who loves Aussie wildlife and isn’t afraid to add a little bit of fearless flair to their wardrobe!

Care- for maximum print life:
- Turn inside out: Always invert your shirt before putting it in the wash to reduce friction against the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) ink.
- Cold & gentle: Wash the garment on a cold cycle (under 30°C) on your machine's gentlest setting.
- Mild detergent only: Use standard, mild washing powder. Avoid heavy-duty detergents, enzymes, and bleaching agents (even non-chlorine ones, if possible).
- No softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as these can strip or degrade the coloured inks.
