The Eastern Curlew, with its long, curved beak and striking plumage, is a bird that knows how to make an entrance! Found across the coastal regions of eastern Asia and Australia, this wader migrates long distances, covering up to 10,000 kilometers between its breeding and non-breeding habitats. It feeds in shallow mudflats, using its bill to probe for crabs, worms, and shellfish—delicacies that keep it fueled for its epic journey. Despite its size, the curlew is a symbol of grace, its elegant silhouette a beautiful reminder of the wild places it inhabits.
- Fabric: Mid weight, 100% combed organic cotton (15% viscose in marle colourways) sustainably grown without herbicides or pesticides.
- Fit: Regular fit with a crew neck.
- Construction: Side-seamed, GOTS-certified, with neck ribbing, shoulder-to-shoulder tape, and double needle hems. It is also pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage.
Care- for maximum print life:
- Turn inside out: Always invert your shirt before putting it in the wash to reduce friction against the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) ink.
- Cold & gentle: Wash the garment on a cold cycle (under 30°C) on your machine's gentlest setting.
- Mild detergent only: Use standard, mild washing powder. Avoid heavy-duty detergents, enzymes, and bleaching agents (even non-chlorine ones, if possible).
- No softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as these can strip or degrade the coloured inks.
