Found in the coastal waters and rivers of northern Australia, these massive reptiles can grow to over 6 meters long and weigh over 1,000 kilograms. With their powerful jaws capable of delivering a bite force stronger than any land animal, they strike fear into the hearts of fish, birds, and even large mammals. Despite their terrifying reputation for striking in rivers and lagoons, Salties are surprisingly good swimmers and can travel vast distances in the ocean. With their raw power and fierce nature, the ancient Saltwater Crocodile is a living reminder of nature’s ultimate hunter, and possibly our ultimate original design!
