The Spectacled Flying Fox is one of Australia’s most impressive and oddly endearing creatures, with its large, bat-like wings and striking face that looks like it’s always in deep thought—thanks to its unique, pale "glasses" around its eyes! Found in the rainforests of northern Queensland, this mega-bat (yes, it's a bat, not a fox!) is the largest of its kind in Australia, with a wingspan of up to 1.5 meters. These fruit bats are essential to the ecosystem, as they pollinate flowers and disperse seeds, helping maintain the health of the rainforest. - Fabric: Mid weight, 100% combed organic cotton (15% viscose in marle colourways) sustainably grown without herbicides or pesticides.
- Fit: Regular fit with a crew neck.
- Construction: Side-seamed, GOTS-certified, with neck ribbing, shoulder-to-shoulder tape, and double needle hems. It is also pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage.
Care- for maximum print life:
- Turn inside out: Always invert your shirt before putting it in the wash to reduce friction against the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) ink.
- Cold & gentle: Wash the garment on a cold cycle (under 30°C) on your machine's gentlest setting.
- Mild detergent only: Use standard, mild washing powder. Avoid heavy-duty detergents, enzymes, and bleaching agents (even non-chlorine ones, if possible).
- No softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as these can strip or degrade the coloured inks.
