Tasmanian devils are small, carnivorous marsupials native to Tasmania, an island state of Australia. Despite their fearsome name and reputation, they’re more like nature’s cleanup crew than monsters, as they primarily scavenge carrion. These nocturnal creatures have a powerful bite—one of the strongest relative to body size in the animal kingdom—and emit spine-chilling screeches when competing for food. Their black fur, white chest markings, and stocky build make them unmistakable. Sadly, Tasmanian devils are endangered due to a contagious facial cancer called Devil Facial Tumor Disease, which has drastically reduced their population. Conservation efforts, however, are working to save these unique creatures, ensuring their growls and antics continue to echo across the Tasmanian wilderness.
- Fabric: Mid weight, 100% combed organic cotton (15% viscose in marle colourways) sustainably grown without herbicides or pesticides.
- Fit: Regular fit with a crew neck.
- Construction: Side-seamed, GOTS-certified, with neck ribbing, shoulder-to-shoulder tape, and double needle hems. It is also pre-shrunk to minimize shrinkage.
Care- for maximum print life:
- Turn inside out: Always invert your shirt before putting it in the wash to reduce friction against the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) ink.
- Cold & gentle: Wash the garment on a cold cycle (under 30°C) on your machine's gentlest setting.
- Mild detergent only: Use standard, mild washing powder. Avoid heavy-duty detergents, enzymes, and bleaching agents (even non-chlorine ones, if possible).
- No softeners: Do not use fabric softeners, as these can strip or degrade the coloured inks.
