Weedy seadragons face threats from habitat loss, pollution and damage to the seagrass and seaweed habitats they rely on. In Victoria, the Victorian National Parks Association runs Dragon Quest, a project helping monitor and understand weedy seadragon populations in Port Phillip and Western Port Bays.
